I don’t disagree – as much as it opened up my GPS so that I could use the underlying Windows CE, it failed to make it any more usable. The interface did have bugs and lots of features did not work properly. Keep in mind you are running 5 year old non-commercial software on a decade old platform. After little time I restored my GPS to stock; miopocket didn’t do it for me.

this program is shit. wont even let me run the settings option or even run my own navigation menu. great idea just shit when its all put into action

There is nothing wrong with replacing batteries with the machined turned off. The benefit of leaving it on is that the game settings are not lost. When you remove the batteries with it turned off, it will simply reset to factory defaults (3 balls, no extra ball). If it enters attract mode (lights and sound works), it sounds to me like you haven’t fed it any credits yet. And naturally so, as once the battery is removed, any credits that were loaded up before as reset. Let me know if this helps.

The GORGAR I have in my possession worked until the previous owner replaced the batteries WITHOUT having the machine powered up. I replaced all the speech chips (4) on the optional speech module thinking this would bring it back to life. It now only lights up and all the sounds work, but I can’t get it to go into the “start” mode. Any suggestions?

This is a helpful tip (poke around on the chip) for what I’m trying to do, which is simply convert an old cordless phone into a wireless microphone. The range should be great, and I’m not sure how good the sound quality will be, but I picked up this phone for $5 at a used goods store, so it’s worth a try. It’s at times like this I wish I still had my ‘scope. Thanks!

Its been working great for me. It does take a while to charge with my higher capacity batteries, but 8 hours is still faster than the 14 it takes with my old charger.
